Patricia Sanders-Hall: Love Thy Neighbor – Let’s Get Busy with Sustainable Actions, Part 2
This is Part 2 of a 2 session course. Part 1 was offered in March and April.
In this second part of the Love Thy Neighbor course by Patricia Sander-Hall, attendees will be given numerous examples of activities from which to select for annual, monthly, weekly and daily activities and behaviors which promote inter-racial harmony.
In the beginning, some of these activities may feel the same way your body does when you start exercising when you’re out of shape. Patricia will be encouraging you to start at an easier level within your comfort zone, then continue to progress to actions that might feel unfamiliar. The goal is that, in time, you and your church will experience greater joy, peace and inner well-being by obeying the second commandment to embrace people of all races, colors and cultures.
Reading books, visiting ethnic art exhibits, museums and events, adding more diverse books to your home and school libraries and including more diverse images in your home, businesses and churches Patricia will share many ideas to help your church present an openness and welcoming message to all people, regardless of race.
Join us for this session to get busy in following in the footsteps of Jesus!
